There are several locations where you are asked to enter a password on Catenda.

This articles describes the different challenges users could experience when entering their account information.

This article contains information about the following topics:

Sign in

On the sign in page you are asked to enter your password.

The same sign in page is used both when signing in via the browser and when signing in to give access to your account via the API like you end up doing with many of our plugins.

During this process the following challenges could arise:

Wrong username or password

Please make sure you enter the right username and password combination.

Your username is always the email address that is connected to your account.

Too many login requests

If you enter the wrong username or password too many times you will either have to wait a period until next time you can try again or go to https://hub.catenda.com/forgot-password to reset your password.

Password confirmation

Whenever there is a change in password information you will be asked enter your password once to enter it and one more time as confirmation.

During this process the following challenges could arise:

Password requirement

Please make sure your password is

  • at least 12 characters long

and contains at least one of the following:

  • one upper case

  • one lower case

  • one numeric character

Forgot password

If you are unable to log in, you can request a new password by going to https://hub.catenda.com/forgot-password

Passwords are not equal

When you are entering your new password for the second time to confirm it, please make sure you are entering the same password as you just entered.

Old password not valid

If you are able to sign in, you can go to the account authentication page to reset your password. Here you will first be asked for your old password. This is the password you used to sign in to your account.
If you do not enter the right password you will see the following message:

New password is the same

If your are changing your password, please make sure you enter a new password that is not the same as your previous password.
