Make the grids visible by going to the model selector in the 3D view and pressing the “Grids” button. (grids needs to be exported from the CAD software)

Activate the grids by pressing the white circle where the grid marker is. You can have as many grid lines open at the same time.

Then use the “Laser measure” or the “Tape measure” to measure to activated grids.
