Markups are saved as comments in topics.

Click on save markups to save all markups in the selected topic..

Note: Each annotation set will be saved to the same topic and thereby be combined into one big markup. This way a separate markup name can be added for each comment that is created in the topic.

Annotation sets

Each page in a document where annotations are made will have its own set of anotations.

This is what it can look like when annotations are made on multiple pages in a document:

Markup page

The page number indicates on which page the markup has been created.

Annotations menu

Click on "annotations" to expand the annotations menu and see page annotations in a list. Edit or delete the annotation by clicking on the three dots to the right of the annotation.

Edit the annotations to add a bit of text to go along with that annotation.

This text can later be found by hovering over the annotation.

Discard a set of annotations

Click on discard to discard al the annotations created on this page.

Snapshot

For each set of annotations an image of the area on the page of the revision where the annotations are made is created.

The image is refreshed each time there is a change in annotations on the page.
When new annotations are created a larger image is made to include all annotations while the image might be adjusted smaller if an annotation is removed.

To highlight a part of a page it is recommended to use a rectangle annotation with 0 opacity to ensure that the image captures the entire area within the rectangle.
