Catenda AI Connect only reaches what each user can already open in Catenda Hub, and it acts as that user.

1. Who can use it on a project
Catenda AI Connect works on the projects the signed-in user is part of.
For many users, those are not only their own organization's projects, but also projects of other organizations they are invited to.
The organization that runs a project is in full control of the use of Catenda AI Connect on that project.
An organization that has not asked for a limit allows Catenda AI Connect on its projects.
The people this organization invites to those projects can then use Catenda AI Connect there too.
An organization may also have limited Catenda AI Connect on some or all of the projects it runs.
On a project where Catenda AI Connect is limited, the limit decides who can still use Catenda AI Connect there.
An invited user may not be able to use Catenda AI Connect on such a project, even when they have Catenda AI Connect through their own organization.
Catenda AI Connect sees only what the signed-in user can open in Catenda Hub, and can only change what that user is allowed to change.
When an organization allows Catenda AI Connect on its projects, it does not mean that every invited person can use Catenda AI Connect there.
Each invited person's own organization may have a policy that keeps its people from using AI on projects, including projects of other organizations.
So on a project where Catenda AI Connect is allowed, each invited person's own organization decides whether that person can use Catenda AI Connect there.
As a result, all of the invited people, some of the invited people or none of the invited people may be able to use Catenda AI Connect on that project.
People from other companies who want to use Catenda AI Connect can request it themselves.
2. Where Catenda AI Connect is available
An organization can request a limit for everyone on all the projects it runs, or on specific projects.
With that limit in place, nobody can use Catenda AI Connect on those projects.
The limit does not stop the organization's own people from using Catenda AI Connect on projects of other organizations they are invited to.
Other arrangements can be made.
A limit on Catenda AI Connect does not change any other permission in Catenda Hub or in the Catenda API.
3. Settings in the AI app
The organization's own AI app has admin settings of its own.
They decide which AI apps and which users may use the Catenda connector.
They also decide whether the AI app may only read project data in Catenda Hub, or may also change it.
These settings are made in the AI app itself, not in Catenda.
They apply only to the organization's own people. People from other companies use their own AI apps, so these settings do not reach them.
