Topics page - Catenda Mobile

Browse, filter and create topics in Catenda Mobile.

Written by Sjaak Velthoven

Note: Catenda Mobile is in early access and is being developed together with the customers in the Co-creation program. The app is not final and may still change considerably, so pages and buttons can look or work differently from what is described here.

The Topics page is opened from the bar at the bottom of the screen, after a project is opened on the projects page.

A project always opens on the Topics page, also when it is opened with Switch project on the Menu page.

The Topics page lists the topics of the project across all topic boards.

Topics work the same way as in the browser.

The following topics are described in this article:

1. Search topics

The search button at the top right searches the topics.

2. Filter and sort topics

Assigned to me shows only the topics assigned to the user.

Sort by sets the order of the list.

Status opens a list of the topic statuses of the project, such as active or in progress, and shows only the topics with the statuses selected there.

3. Topic board dropdown

Under the filters, the topic board dropdown filters the list on a specific topic board, or goes back to the topics of every board with All boards.

4. Create a topic

A topic is created with + at the bottom right.

Creating a topic means choosing a location, tapping the floor plan to drop a pin, and choosing a topic board.

The status, type, assignee and comments are set after that.

5. The topic list

The list shows one card per topic, with its status, number, title and topic board, and how many images and comments it has.

Tapping a card opens the topic.

6. Open a topic

An open topic shows its title, number and status at the top, followed by its description and comments.

The pencil next to the title or the description edits them, and comments are added in the field at the bottom of the screen.

Documents can also be linked to the topic, and linked documents can be removed.
