Model transformation

When a model is loaded in the 3D viewer by clicking on its 3D button, model transformation settings will be displayed towards the bottom of the right menu.
This is what the model transform settings can look like:

While the transformation settings can be changed the IFC file will not be changed.

If a new model is made with the IFC file either in Catenda or in an external project it will be back at the location specified in the IFC file.

It is therefore not a problem to temporarily transform the model in Catenda so it is in the right location, but in the long run it is important to agree on a common coordinate to align models with in the project so the right coordinates are specified in the IFC file before it is uploaded.

Position offset

Units - meters

Move the selected model in the x, y or z direction.

Rotation

Units - degrees

Rotate the selected model around the center of its bounding box.

The center of the bounding box is similar to the center of the model seen from above.

Multi select

With multiple models selected the right menu can look like this:

Click on the red x next to a model to remove it from the selection.

Update selected documents

This is what the update selected documents menu can look like

Click in the add and remove labels areas and select one or more labels.

Adding takes priority

A label that is entered in both the add and remove label fields is added to models that do not have the label yet and not removed from models that already have the label.

Latest revision

The entered status will be configured for all selected models when the the changes are saved.
