The create new building action can be found towards the top right of the storey configurator page.

If no Buildings have been configured yet the add new button in the middle of the page can be clicked.

To add a building it is always possible to click on the Green plus button or click on the action in the action menu.

After using the add new building action the Create a new building dialogue will open up.

In the Create a new building dialogue an initial model is selected.

When a model is imported a 2D view is generated by slicing through the objects of the model 1.4 meters above the height of each storey.

If no objects were sliced through it will not be possible to select the model.
It is possible to tell that this is the case when the 2D button does not activate when opening the 2D view of the model.

If a model with 2D geometry is selected, a draft of a building configuration is created.

At this stage the changes made to the storey configuration are not yet available to project members.

This is what the storey configurator page can look like after having selected a model.

In the created building, a storey is created for each IfcStorey in the model with its respective elevation.

With this as a starting point, more 2D views can be added, a PDF drawing can be underlayed and the the elevation can be changed for each storey.

The current storey is highlighted in green.
The configuration of the storey is displayed on the right hand side.

If multiple panels and the content panel with the storey configurator page has less space you might not see the right storey preview on the right.

Click on a different storey to preview the configuration for that storey.

To save the building click on save configuration towards the bottom of the page.
