Document revision actions

Depending on your access different actions for your document and its revisions can be seen on the document revision preview page.

Document actions

The action menu to the right of the icons can look something like this:

Download latest published revision

The download icon and hamburger menu action on a document page download the latest revision of the document, even if you are looking at a previous revision you will get the latest revision with this action.

If you want to download previous revisions of a document you can do so in the revisions menu of the right information menu.

Actions that have the same behavior as in the documents list include:

Actions for your current revision can be found in the right menu of a revision.

Compare

If you have multiple pdf revisions in a document you will be able to see the PDF compare action. Click here to read more about pdf compare.

Publish

If you have enabled the status workflow in your project any new revision that is created will be a shared revision.

Shared revisions will have a minor revision number. (0.1, 0.2, 1.1, etc...)
The publish action can be available for shared revisions in the model.
Only shared revisions after the latest published revision can be published.

Published revisions will have a minor revision number. (1.0, 2.0, 3.0 etc...)

Access required: Can publish

With the publish action you will be able to publish the latest shared revision.

After publishing a new published revision with a major number (1.0, 2.0, 3.0 etc...) will be added.

Download

Click the download icon on the top right of the revision menu or download in the hamburger menu next to the download icon to download the current revision.

Access required: Read access to the document
