By uploading a new revision to a document instead of creating a new document all versions of a document can be gathered in one place.
It is one possible to upload new revisions to one document at a time with the action button.

Drag and drop
Drag and drop a file on top of a document in the documents table to upload it as a new revision to that document.
Upload menu
A new revision can be uploaded to up to 100 documents in a folder at once with through the upload dialogue.
Drag and drop one or more files into the documents table click on browse in an empty folder or click on the green plus button on the top right to open the document upload menu.
In the upload menu files can be recognized and uploaded as new revision to the right documents.

Zip import
If documents with the same name of the files in a zip file that is imported with the zip import action exist they will be added as a new revision instead of a new document.
Action in document structure
With a single document selected the new revision action can also be found in the existing element action menu that appears when an element is selected towards the top of the documents table.
A benefit of this action is that there is no confusion of what the document name is.
The document is selected and the file you chose gets uploaded to the document that has been selected without having to worry about what name it has.

Action in document preview
Open the document action menu on the top right or click the new revision icon.
The new revision action opens the file explorer on your system.
From the file explorer the file that will be uploaded as a new revision can be chosen.
A benefit of this action is that there is no confusion of what the document name is.
