Hello everyone,
thank you all for being so active on our platform in these winter months. We have enjoyed an amazing winter period and can prodly say that there has been more stability on the platform around this time than previous years.
At the same time we have continued to listen to your request about the approval workflow overhaul that was brand new as of the last changelog.
While some administrators have learned how to configure workflows and others been busy at work approving on behalf of their team there are a few checkboxes for us left to complete to tie everything together. A focus going forward will be creating a way to lock down an audit trail of the different actions that have occured in the approval process so documentation can be provided as proof that approval checks are being performed by the different teams.
With the new members page it is easier than ever to configure team membership so let your administrators know if you feel like you are not in the right team or a team is missing in the project!

Thanks to your valuable feedback we have been able to squash many topics that you may or may not have noticed existed. Below is a list of smaller changes that have been made by the development team as a result of conversations with users.
Topics
It is once again possibe to click on the play button of a markup snapshot to play the annotations on the document instead of getting a completely white screen.
Text search improvements on the topics page.
Documents
It is once again possible to open folders after a white screen was displayed when opening a folder in a 15 minute period.
Models
The amount of memory dedicated to generating excel exports of filtered rows in the objects table has been increased so the excel export properly gets generated and an infinite spinner is no longer displayed.
It is now much faster and the page is less likely to freeze when selecting 50000+ elements in the objeects table.
When grids are enabled and the model is transformed in the Catenda Hub 3D viewer (browser only) The grids always followed, now, when you refresh the page and load the transformed model at its transformed location the grids are correctly displayed at that transformed location as well.
Plugins and integrations
It is once again possible for users that have MFA enabled to open the content of projects via plugins and integrations.
Catenda as an application
It is once again possible to have both 3D viewer and the content panels open at the same time instead of one at a time on 11 Inch iPads
User voices completed
Topics
It is once again possible to search on partial words in topic titles, descriptions in comments. The topic number search has now been separated from this search allowing more granularity when searching for topics specificlly by their topic number on Catenda.
Documents
Notifications are now being sent out to users that are part of teams that belong in three different categories.
As part of an approval submitter team, as part of a team that is in one of the workflow steps and as part of the final submitter team.
There are notifications about new information like information being submitted, and edited.
There are notificatiotions about responsibility like when it is time for a reviewer team to do their review or when it is time for the final reviewer to publish the documents in the approval request.
And there are notifications about actions being performed like all reviews in a step being submitted by the different teams in the step or the final closing of an approval request by the final reviewer team.On the final step of an approval the instead of just approving and rejecting it is now possible for someone from the final approver team to approve with comment. This is typically used in the situation where the final approver would like to approve on behalf of the approver team but has some reservations about the document. Maybe a small change needs to be made, maybe there is an acceptable flaw in the document.
Settings
It is now possible to configure team membership by selecting on or more members in the list and making changes to update them in the right menu instead of having to go to the team and having to add member by member.
Date field - A new custom field has been made available of type Date.
If this field is made available for topics or documents each date field that has been made available for a topic/document can be given a date by clicking on it and selecting a date in a calendar.
Date fields are not available for naming conventions but they are available via the API.

It is now possible to get topics with open meta-statuses as well as topics with closed meta-statuses.

It is now possible to choose betweeen survey point and project origin in the coordinates action menu.
Viewpoints are now played relative to the coordinate setting configured in the coordinates action menu.

Revit plugin v1.0.15
This plugin now has its .MSI own installer that is separate from the Autodesk plugins page.
When you type @ in a comment or description you now get a list of members you can choose from so you can select which one you want to mention.
Images for 3D snapshots and other images in topics comments load a lot faster now.

Feature statuses
Each opt-in feature is production-grade and ready for real project use.
While the feature has been tested to work as it should there can be varying degrees as to how many projects have started using these features so unknown edge-cases might be found.
While changes might happen as we work to make these features available to all users data that is submitted in these features will not be deleted.
Enabling new features
Some features can be requested to be enabled for existing projects by the contact person for your Catenda license while others can be enabled with a setting in the project.
When a new feature is requested to be enabled, a meeting will be set up with a support representative to discuss the current status of the feature.
If a project is not already available where the new feature can be tested a dummy project will be created for a limited time where the new feature can be tested.
New status workflow and new validation workflow
The new status workflow no longer has to be requested to be enabled and is now available both for new users and can be enabled for project that are currently using the legacy status workfly by enablling shared revisions in document settings.
Objects page
Search on any content from your IFC with logic.
The objects page is an on-demand feature that can be requested to be enabled for ongoing projects.
New projects that are created based on a template project where this feature is enabled do not have this feature enabled.
For example all "Door entities" from "Model A" that are taller than 2 meters.
Configure columns to display the relevant properties for each row element in the table.
If filter results have an object in the 3D viewer this object can be selected in 3D.
Export selected elements with the configured property columns that are displayed to excel.
Similar to the QTO feature objects that are selected in 3D can be filtered as well.
Compared to the QTO feature it is not a problem to load thousands of rows in the table.
Report editor
Create report templates for topics and documents so project members can select topics or documents from the table and use the report action to generate a report.
The reports page is an on-demand feature that can be requested to be enabled for ongoing projects.
New projects that are created based on a template project where this feature is enabled do not have this feature enabled.
Separate templates can be created for topics and documents.
When a template is available in a project the report action can be used with selected topics and documents to generate a report based on the selected template.
Support for how different values can be displayed on the page is offered by Catenda.
